Welcome to the Fiber of the Month Club **Luxury Edition**

Here are the club details:
You are purchasing 3 months at a time, one 4 oz braid per month.
The months included in this package are:
Mar
Apr
May

Fibers are mailed out on the 5th (or as close to it as possible) of each month. The first month will be shipped USPS via Etsy & a tracking number provided. The following two months will be shipped via USPS & a tracking number will be provided upon request.
Please note: If Fiber Club and Ready to Ship fibers are purchased in the same transaction, your entire order will ship when Fiber Club does- the 5th of the month. If you would like the in-stock items to ship sooner than that, please purchase Fiber Club in one transaction, and the RTS items in another transaction to allow for different ship dates.

I will hand dye a unique colorway on a different luxury wool or wool-blend fiber every month.
The fiber content and colorway are a surprise. If you have any fiber allergies, please note them in the "Note to Seller" box at checkout and I will be sure to send you something NOT on that list.
Examples of fibers include but are not limited to blends such as merino/tencel, merino/bamboo, merino/silk, merino/stellina, polwarth/silk, bfl/silk, bfl/seacell, alpaca/silk.

If you would like a 100% wool subscription please see the listing here: www.etsystudio.com/listing/485370452/3-month-100-wool-fiber-club-subscription

Want MORE goodness? Sign up for a 6 month fiber club subscription to get that month's club colorway automatically shipped to you. Message for details on that
Or, purchase one month at a time to pick & choose which months you want to participate.
1 month: www.etsystudio.com/listing/482239420/may-luxury-fiber-club-subscription-4-oz

If you would like a custom handspun yarn from this surprise colorway and fiber base, please message me & we'll work out details.

Can't seem to get enough fiber? Double your dose of fiber by purchasing 2 (or more) subscriptions at once. I will send twice (or number specified) the regular club amount in matching rovings each month so you can create larger projects with matching wool.

Space is limited! I'm an indie dyer, hand dyeing in small batches, so in order to keep quality up, I have to keep the club size small. My absolute first priority is to send you the best quality fibers I can possibly produce, so club memberships will be limited in size.
The colorways ARE NOT REPEATABLE. If you miss a month, there will not be the option to order it at a later date.

***Please note: Coupon codes are NOT valid on this purchase. If you use a coupon code at checkout, you will be refunded and your order canceled. This listing is already priced at a discounted rate for the fiber content due to the "surprise" aspect of fibers and colors included.***

FAQs

I do not! Our goal is to allow those with fragrance sensitivities to enjoy our fibers without worry, and thus no scents are used at any point during production.

This is actually a super common question! This is wool fiber - more specifically, combed top. It's been shorn off the sheep, cleaned & prepared in a fiber mill before it arrives to my dye studio, where it gets colored with the use of professional-grade acid dyes & my unique talent, before it heads off to homes of artists who pet it, love it, squish it, and eventually make handspun yarn, felted or woven pieces, etc, that are enjoyed in a variety of homes across the world.

Before you get to thinking ‘acid is bad for you!’ I will pause & remind you that lemon juice is acid, as is vinegar, and a variety of household items. The reason they’re called acid dyes is because it requires an acidic ‘fixer’ to have the color adhere to the dye. In fact, some dye artists use vinegar in their dyeing. I utilize citric acid (something found in food, household cleaners, etc) in my dye process, however, each batch is rinsed thoroughly after color application and before drying to remove excess dye & return the ph to non-acidic.

Additional policies

All the products that I sell in my shop are products that I use in my own work and I strive to maintain the highest quality. Because I often use very fine fibers, there may at time be some bleeding of dyes when you wash yarns or finished items. While I do exhaust dyes completely and rinse until water runs clear, I am very careful to avoid felting, which means that I do not manipulate the fibers in any way during rinsing. I do this to ensure you receive fibers that are a pleasure to spin. It has been my personal experience that adding soap to the rinse of dyed fibers will reveal any remaining dye in those fibers and I have found that it is best to add soap to the final yarn or knit/crocheted project to avoid felting. This bleeding should not effect the color of your yarn or finished product.

On occasion I will procure fibers dyed by other artisans for use in my products. This will be noted in the product description. I only use artisans whose work I have come to know as high quality.
