These shorts based on the harem pant style have been created with back and front both the same, and seams made up on the outside. They can be worn by all children but are especially suitable for those with Sensory Processing Disorder. (SPD)Some children find it difficult to tell the back of a garment from the front so the back and front are both the same. The Harem pant style also has only one very low crotch seam which is super comfy. The seams are worked on the outside because some children find seams itchy, scratchy and painful. The pattern contains instructions for the long trousers and the shorts.See my other listings for photos of these.Full photographic instructions are sent as a PDF with the pattern which is available for instant download. The fabric shown in the photographs is from the Ruth Maddock Makes shop at spoonflower.com - you can buy this at https://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/ruthmaddockmakesYou can also make the garment in any stretch fabric from your local fabric store.MaterialsFor the long trousers 1(1,1,2,2,2,2,3) yards of printed fabric from Spoonflower.com as specified on the website at www.ruthmaddockmakes.com(Note: the fabric is sold by the yard—full yards only) For the Shorts 1(1,1,1,2,2,2,2) yard of printed fabric from Spoonflower.com OR - 1(1,1,2,2,2,2,3) metre x 142 cm (56 inches) ofmedium (approx. 300gsm) weight cotton Jersey with at least 25% stretch.
