Item details

Antique Lace: Pinks and greyish purples speckled on a creamy base

Could be used for socks, shawls, sweaters or any number of knitted/crocheted accessories or garments.

100g (approx 400m) of 75% superwash merino/ 25% Nylon dyed by hand at home using acid dyes.

I only dye in very small batches, usually by immersion dyeing on the stove top. All yarn is initially rinsed and soaked in water with baby shampoo. It is then rinsed again for a minimum of an hour. I would recommend hand washing yarn in a mild soap solution (like baby shampoo) although it is super wash so could be machine washed at 30°C.

This is a lovely yarn, can't wait to use it, so soft. Despatched quickly. Can definitely recommend.
