Snap! It stays. Add a touch of the 1920s to your next sewing project with this amazing set of Wilsnap snaps. A stylish box contains 12 cards, each with a set of 12 snaps arranged in a circle for a total of 144 snaps (one gross).
Billed "Fashion's Fasteners," Wilsnap products were made in Cleveland by the Wilson Fastener Company and were known for their durability, quality, and rust resistance. These stylish orange cards were labeled for sale—at 45¢ a pop!—at Cliff's Variety Store, a San Francisco institution dating back to the 1930s (and still doing a brisk business in its original location).
:: Condition :: This set is in truly amazing vintage condition. The only hints of its age are some minor yellowing/age spots on the inside of the box and a small mark from a long-ago sticker on the bottom left corner of the back of the box. Otherwise, the box itself is in great shape, as are the cards and the snaps.
:: Measurements :: The box measures 4 3/4" by 3 3/4" by ≈1 1/2".
:: Markings :: There are markings and text on both the box top and side, and on the front and back of each card. See the photos above for details.
:: Shipping :: This item ships free in the U.S.
For international shipping, my standard method is USPS First Class International Package Service. I'll always refund the difference if you're charged more than $2 above what it actually costs me to ship your package.
