Most of my items are fragile and must be double boxed. I ship in boxes and packing material that has been previously used such as Amazon, Sam's club, Pier 1, etc. which is clean and only used once prior (sent to me) and I NEVER send out items in stinky boxes. If you received a box you feel is stinky I'm sorry but it didn't leave here stinky. I maintain a smoke-free and clean environment for myself and my items.
Those items that can safely travel in USPS boxes are shipped with USPS priority boxes. USPS priority mailing/boxes automatically include insurance.
I usually ship in less time than the 3 to 5 day guideline. And am currently shipping the first Tuesday following your purchase . . .
All items over $100.00 are shipped with insurance at no extra cost to the seller.

Unfortunately, many of my items are non-refundable and here is why. . . You've heard the saying "one bad apple". . . well, in items that are vintage but were produced in duplicate or triplicate or even more than that, condition varies. It is not uncommon for dishonest people to buy a piece in better condition than the one they have, and then send their item back stating it is chipped, cracked or flawed. Like I said "one bad apple." Therefore, once burned , twice shy. If item is NOT MARKED NON-RETURNABLE/REFUNDABLE then buyer pays shipping to return item.
I want you to know that this is a vintage shop. That means items are not new, they have been used in varying degrees and therefore:
I do not withold any negative or perceived negative attribute about any item I sell, no matter how small or trivial, and encourage you to ask questions prior to purchase so that there is no mis-understanding. I represent honesty in all that I do in my life. Integrity is everything to me. . .
I really do package securely. But things do happen. I will respond to legitimate complaints of items damaged by the Post Office in shipping.
However, If you attempt to mis-represent me, my shop, my product, or the care I take in shipping, I will report you to ETSY. Or, If you choose to be belligerent or dishonest in any review, I will take the high road rather than engage in a confrontation with you.
