This lovely silk fabric panel was from part of a deadstock furisode kimono karinui. Material is of a cream-colored, slightly-shiny silk (100%) with an elegant drape. Assorted floral motifs are dyed over sections of green using the yuzen dyeing technique.
Fabric panel has a few patina spots (from age), very faint lines of pinholes from where the fabric was previously basted, and a small section of dye run-off in one section. Also, the ends and parts of the fabric edges have crease marks from when it was previously pressed. Overall, said fabric panel is in excellent condition. Great for upcycling into luxurious scarves, doll making, fabric jewelry, or other various crafty projects!
