Item details

Enhance your stitching project with this lovely cloisonne needleminder featuring a spray on red lilies!

Oval shape. Approx. 1" x 1.4" (2.5 x 3.6 cm)

A needleminder is a magnetic accessories for various kinds of needlecrafts, such as cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, quilting, etc. They beautifully adorn your work and hold your needle when not in use. They can also hold your pattern onto your fabric.

My needleminders are made from repurposed objects of many kinds, such as jewellery, buttons, pins, whatever I find. They are made from a wide variety of materials: Metal, wood, enamel, plastic, etc. I use good strong ceramic 3/4” magnets (1/2” for the smaller ones) which I coat to make sure they leave no marks on fabric and so that they slide easily across your fabric when repositioning. Many are unique, one-of-a-kind items.

Important Note: Shipping rates do not include tracking. If you would like to track your package, please contact me for the additional charge applicable. Buyer assumes responsibility if no tracking option is chosen.

FAQs

Because of the nature of these items, there is no return or exchange on patterns or kits. However, if you are having difficulty, please contact me, as I will be glad to work with you to deal with your issues.

Yes, my fabrics do hold their colour very well. I go to great lengths during the dying process to make sure of that, as I too find my stitching looks much better after a wash. To make sure you have no problems, use just a drop of mild dish soap, such as blue Dawn, wash gently in cold water, rinse gently and thoroughly in cold water, then roll in a towel to squeeze excess moisture (don't twist), then lay flat to dry. These steps will help to ensure a successful washing. However, I can only address my fabrics, not the floss. If you are concerned about colour bleed, use a "colour catcher" such as Rit Laundry Treatment when washing.

I price my patterns by taking into account several factors, such as simplicity, size, number of pages, and whether there is an artist who gets a share. The biggest factor is the number of pages, because I sell hardcopies, and they are printed on high-quality bright-white paper. The number of pages in the pattern is also reflected in the shipping cost.

Yes I do! If you're looking for a special piece, please contact me and we can talk about it!

Yes I can - in some ways. For example, I can remove the background, or change the colour scheme, or upsize or downsize, add custom text, or whatever! Not all patterns are customizable, but if you have something special in mind, contact me and I will be glad to work with you to get exactly what you need.
