This pattern includes both a charted graph and row-by-row written instructions to crochet this adorable baby giraffe afghan and is specifically designed to be crocheted using the corner-to-corner (c2c) method. This is also a good size for a pillow using single crochet or Tunisian crochet. You can easily make this blanket gender specific simply by changing the background color.
The graph is 50x60 squares. Each square represents one c2c cluster. The size of the finished afghan will depend on your individual tension. Normally each cluster will measure 3/4" to 1", so the finished size would be approximately 40x48" to 50x60" before any optional border, which is a good sized baby or lap blanket. (I crochet at a gauge of 3.5 stitches per inch with a size H hook and each cluster measures just over 3/4".)
To make this afghan you will need worsted weight yarn (suggested yarn and amounts are listed in the pattern), size H/5mm or I/5.5mm crochet hook, and a yarn needle to weave in yarn ends.
This listing is for the PATTERN ONLY, not the physical blanket. If you don't crochet and would like this made for you please contact me. I'll be happy to work with you to create it for you.
You are welcome to sell any finished afghans made from this pattern, but I would appreciate it if you would include a link back to this listing and give me credit as the designer.
