I've been hand dyeing wool locks for a couple of years for my own art yarns. I've finally decided to share my dye work with the rest of the world. I've found that the BEST way to get lots of texture is to use different types of wool at once. These locks will make beautiful yarns or felt work! Use your creativity! The sky is the limit.
This listing is for a 3 ounces blend of kid mohair, Wensleydale, Cotswold, and Cormo locks. These locks are beautifully lustrous and soft. They were hand dyed in beautiful shades of blue, purple, and chartreuse
If you have questions, please feel free to ask! I'd love to give ideas for how to spin it!
Please keep in mind that these locks come from hand processed fleeces. As a result, there may be some VM present; though I've tried to keep it to a minimum. These are all fleeces and fibers that I use in my own spinning and have not found that the VM content is enough to diminish the joy of working with it. However, if you are greatly averse to VM, please be advised and ask lots of questions before ordering! :-)
