I dyed Dionysus with shades of wine, mauve and speckles of orange and dark shadeswith the natural peeking out. It is a speckled, tonal and variegated yarn, with colors that blend and mix beautifully. It is named for the Greek God of Wine and Agriculture.
Dionysus is a sock/ fingering weight yarn that is 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. There are 437 yards in this 100 gram skein. This would look stunning as socks, a shawl or scarf.
I use professional acid dyes to achieve this color and set the color with citric acid. The yarn was washed with a lavender scented wool wash to remove any excess dye; however, please wash separately in cool water and lay flat to dry as a precaution.
