While traversing my way through the many vendors at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival in May 2017, I came across a heavenly bag of white alpaca wool roving. That ball of roving soon turned into these lovely Blanco skeins!
Three skeins are available in this color way: 173 yds, 112 yds, and 140.5 yds.
Each skein at Alpacadelphia is spun by hand by Brigid Simpson. After completing a skein, the yarn is put into a warm water and Eucalan wash bath, followed by a warm water soak to rinse out the wool wash. Then, the skein is hung out to dry to let nature take its course in the drying process!
Here at Alpacadelphia, we realize our impact on our local environment and therefore, we package our yarn with only compostable and recyclable materials!
