This colorful cabochon is a blend of two copper carbonates, Azurite (blue) and malachite (green). The material comes from the large open-pit copper mine at Morenci, Arizona near the New Mexico border
This exceptional earring pair has a streak of bright green malachite surrounded by dark blue azurite. One cabochon is slightly thicker than the other (5.0 - 5.8)
Azurite improves communications in expressing points more effectively. Malachite enables one to have loving tolerance towards others when responding to events.
About For the past 30 years I have cut and polished my own cabochons and made sterling silver jewelry for sale at small craft and gem and mineral shows in the western US. At age 74 I now realize I cannot make jewelry from all the cabochons I have cut and therefore, I am offering some of my special cabs for sale.
