This is a fantastic buffalo horn walking stick made by myself using traditional methods and techniques. The handle itself is made from solid buffalo horn which is formed and bent into shape using heat and steam and then finished by hand filing to the required shape, it is then attached to a Hazel shank using the traditional dowel method and bonded together using epoxy resin. The stick is finished with several coats of lacquer which is hard wearing and gives a nice shine. There are some natural marks in both the shank and handle which adds to its character (please see photos). Length is approx 48" and is unferruled. Thanks for looking.
