This is a gorgeous, crimpy, soft, alpaca fleece from Volt, who lives here at my farm.
This show fleece was shorn when he lived at Diversified Alpacas, my friends' farm just down the road in St. Louis, Michigan. Although Volt is registered as a Rose Gray, I think he is now more a medium brown. My monitor is showing the color perfectly. I hope that yours does also.
As you can see by the pictures his crimpy bundles are stunning, about 3 1/2+ inches long. His micron count is 24 which puts him on the soft side of Super Fine. (Super Fine is 24 to 26 microns).
This fleece should process beautifully. It is so nice that it would be a great one to spin as it, maybe just flick the tips. The little bit of VM (vegetation) will fall out easily.
I'm a little concerned. Volt is "whole" and he went over the fence last week to be with the 4 girls. I hope I moved him in time because I don't need any little Volts around here in 10 months. Needless to say, he has a vet appointment coming up. UPDATE: Volt had his appointment and my girls are safe.

Returns & exchanges
If you aren't happy, let me know. I will do an exchange or give your money back, or whatever it takes to have a happy customer. Buying fiber is hard from a picture. Ideally, you need to feel, caress, and, yes, even smell it.
Please let me know if you have allergies to fragrances because I store my fiber with lavender sachets. I can rewash the yarn before I send it out.
