Item details

Extra fine merino wool pre-felt (19 microns).
Weight: about 170 gr/mt.
Width: 150 cm.
Made in Italy.

Perfect for both needle and nuno felting.

Extra fine merino, 19 microns, is great to use for all kinds of felting. Imported from Italy, this soft merino wool prefelts weighs 170 grams or 6 ounces a meter. Perfect for needle felt, nuno felted garments and all kinds of wet felting projects including up wolfing. Layer different colors for your special designs and structural pieces.

What are prefelts? It is not the same as roving or top. Wool prefelt is a lightly felted sheet of felt-like fabric. Prefelt requires additional felting to become a durable fabric.

DHG's exclusive, thin and extra-fine prefelt sheets promise to save you time when incorporated into your wet, nuno and dry needle felting projects. Works great with BIGZ Sizzix dies

• Tear apart for soft edges or cut for defined edges
• Felt it onto the surface of fabric or fiber
• Use as a base or layer and felt other fibers onto it
• Use it with roving to create multi-colored felt sheets
• Needle it onto any of our wool felt

Additional policies

I'm really bummed I even need to mention this but due to a recent transaction, I must. If for some reason I have a product listed in which the price is "too good to be true", well the listing is more than likely incorrect. I recently updated new products and accidently listed a 2 ounce price for a 4 ounce braid with 3 available. The wool sold within one hour and when I looked at the transaction, I saw my mistake. I let the buyer know I was canceling the transaction because I had made a mistake. Unfortunately, the buyer was very ugly about the whole thing which was disappointing. Anyway, I try to be accurate but sometimes I make a mistake. If that happens, the transaction may be canceled.
