Item details

Sari Silk Waste

Waste’ is word which in technical jargon indicates what is left at the end of the production process of textiles. In this case, the silk fiber we are presenting comes from the production process of silk fabrics used to make traditional Indian Saris.

Unlike similar products on the market, the DHG silk waste comes from the production of raw (undyed) fabrics.
This way, we can offer you a recycled material (because we like to keep up our eco-friendly practices) which at the same time meets very high quality standards. Indeed, all of our colors are dyed in our plants in Italy, and therefore are Oeko-Tex certified.

Origin: India.

#felting:
Perfect for creating special effects with both needle and wet felting.

#spinning:
Also excellent for creating inventive yarns.

#spinning:
Perfect for spinning.

Additional policies

I'm really bummed I even need to mention this but due to a recent transaction, I must. If for some reason I have a product listed in which the price is "too good to be true", well the listing is more than likely incorrect. I recently updated new products and accidently listed a 2 ounce price for a 4 ounce braid with 3 available. The wool sold within one hour and when I looked at the transaction, I saw my mistake. I let the buyer know I was canceling the transaction because I had made a mistake. Unfortunately, the buyer was very ugly about the whole thing which was disappointing. Anyway, I try to be accurate but sometimes I make a mistake. If that happens, the transaction may be canceled.
