Item details

I will be listing many new, high grade Russian Amonites and Simbricite cabochons with pyrite druzy in them. These were professionally cut and polished for me by Russian miners/lapidary artists form Ural. You will not find such material here on Etsy or anywhere else, because Ammonite with Simbricite (the orange translucent part) in this quality is very rare. Each stone has a high gloss, a mirror like, polish on top, and a nice polish on the back or is backed up with polished black granite. I will have a huge collection - each fossil is unique and absolutely gorgeous. They are around 80 millions years old - an echo of eternity!

<<<<<<This high gloss polished ammonite with Simbircite and Pyrite is so beautiful in hand! Pyrite veins separating simbircite and agatized ammonite areas are sparkly and add a nice interesting pattern to the stone. Pictures don't do this stone justice. It is so much more beautiful in hand! I wish Etsy had videos, because this stone has a nice glare and depth to it. After all, photos are flat, one dimensional views that haven't a hope of illustrating the three dimensional rolling flash that blazes forth from the stone in person. Professionally cut and polished in Russia, it this cab will be a star of your jewelry design!>>>>>>

About the "SIMBIRCITE ~ This is one of the rarest gemstones in the world. New to the gemstone world, Simbircite comes from Simbirsk, Russia. It is considered an ancient stone that takes over 80 million years to form. It is actually an ammonite from the dinosaur age, that has crystalized in forms of calcite, aragonite, and quartz. The beautiful gold lines that run through it are pyrite, that has formed over time. If you look close, you may see tiny fossils, within this large fossil, of ancient sea life.

Simbircite is a warm stone. It gives energy to the person who carries it. For many nations of the world, hardened ammonites and their fragments are symbols of a prosperity, family well-being and happiness. Simbircite promotes accumulation of vital energy while absorbing negative energy, helps to get rid of indecision and suspicious feelings. It is a stone of self-assured people, it alleviates fear, calms and clears the mind. Simbircite is a stimulus stone for architects and those in the fields of construction." (c)
