Item details

An attractive vintage box containing 10 wooden reels of Linen Thread made in Niederlenz, Switzerland. Manufactured by Schweizerische Leiden Industries A-G, the decorative box shows illustrations of the factory with the Alps in the background. The wording on the box translates roughly to “high quality Linen Thread for Machine and handsewing”, and is printed in black and gold lettering on a blue background.

The same factory illustrations appear in the inner sleeve inside the box. All ten realms are unused with all labels intact.

I am unsure of the age of this item but it is certainly vintage though unused.
