All my kimono fabrics are handpicked by myself at Japanese antique markets. I choose kimonos that due to some imperfection of age can no longer be worn and is now ready to be lovingly remade and given a second life. As the fabric has come from an old kimono there will be small pinholes near the edges and small marks from wear. I try to detail any flaws on the fabric as much as I can above.
This fabric would be great in any textile art or craft including patchwork, quilting, bag or doll making. Be inspired by this gorgeous, authentic Japanese fabric.
