This pdf download includes all the pattern instructions text, diagrams and colour photographs you need to make this flower bib scarf. The flower bib scarf is one of my favourite ever makes! You can wear it as a fashion accessory or use it as a scarf by wearing it underneath a coat. You can create it using any strips of spare fabric you might have lying around, which makes it a great stashbuster! You will need 61x100cm of fabric – I used a jersey knit fabric for extra stretch, but you could use any fabric you like. I used John Kaldor, Ritual in Fuchsia (30x100cm), Teal (18x100cm) and Ivory (18x100cm), from www.carringtonbride.co.uk You'll also need a hook and eye fastening, safety pin, matching cotton thread, sewing machine and hand-sewing needle. Finished scarf fits average neck circumference of 32cm, but can be adjusted to fit. Scarf hangs 23cm down from the front of the neck. Finished large flower measures approx 10cm in diameter. Finished small flower measures approx 6cm in diameter. There are no templates needed to make this scarf.
