1/2 oz of finely crushed Copper German Glass Glitter. What the pros use, once you've tried the real glass glitter, you'll be spoiled. :-)
The glitter comes packaged in a sealed plastic pouch to cut down on your shipping costs.
(see directions below)
Exactly what you need for your vintage inspired artwork.
This glitter will eventually oxidize to a nice rich patina.
Directions For Use:
What I like to do is use a flattened coffee filter underneath the item Im applying glitter to. Use a fairly thick glue (my favorite is Diamond Glaze)and apply the glue to the item. Sprinkle the glitter over the item, you can press gently to adhere it. I usually just let it dry at that point THEN knock off the excess glitter and use a brush to take off any more thats not totally attached.
Fold the coffee filter in half and use it to funnel the glitter either back into the bag or into a small jar.
The nice thing about the glass glitter is that it is cleaner then the plastic and is easier to use.
