Item details

Four days after the Napa Complex fires began, I decided I wanted to use my knitting to benefit those most affected. 100% of the sales from this pattern will go to Redwood Credit Union’s relief fund which will benefit all northbay counties affected by fires.

Oak Knoll Mitts are inspired by my time spent in the hills of Napa County filled with large, twisty oak trees. Oak knolls spot the landscape of the Northbay, making it a unique and magical place. I hope soon, when the fires are out, the rains come, and the air is clear of smoke, to be back under some oak tree, knitting.

Thank you to all who helped me with my first pattern design especially Brooke Sinnes of Sincere Sheep and Suzanne Bryan of “Knitting with Suzanne Bryan” on YouTube.
