1940s Needle threader -- metal tip tool with wooden handle. Wonderful example of domestic art and craftsmanship. Lovely vintage sewing aid for that special seamstress or tailor in your life.
The threader is in excellent condition for its age. The hinged thread-grasping flange works perfectly. A light and easy to use ancestor of the more modern flat bendy diamond threader that is now in common use. Just a nice bit of 1940s technology, as useful today as it was when first manufactured.
The threader measures 3 inches (7.5 cm) from the end of the wooden handle to the tip of the metal closure. It has been used, but remains completely serviceable and in good condition. It is offered for sale as is.
