Gorgeous plaid woven trim! Crimson and gold argyle plaid pattern with a touch of sunny yellow and robin's egg blue.
This ribbon measures 2 1/8" wide. The hand is thick and heavy, possibly made of a wool- or cotton-synthetic blend. The design is woven; on the reverse you can see long floating wefts. This is a gorgeous piece of woven craftsmanship.
Plaid trim is prevalent in a variety of historical eras. This would be excellent trim for a millinery project, and would make an exceptionally darling 1860s belt.
This listing is priced by the yard. Please note that all ribbons are sold as-is. Vintage items are inspected before listing, and if flaws are considerable enough to affect their use, they will be noted in the listing and priced accordingly. Otherwise, please understand that light soiling or slight irregularities are not to be considered defects, but part of the patina that gives these vintage items their charm.
