UNICORN - A charming version of this fantastical creature which comes with optional wings (then it's a PEGASUS) and reins. I did think of making a saddle in matching felt, but hey, you really need to ride bareback on this exquisite creature!
Please note: you will be buying a PDF copy of my original pattern in the 'HOTDOGS' collection and not the original item. This pattern can be printed out on A4 copier paper from your electronic device. Instructions illustrated and simple to follow - as I would've wished as a beginner!
OR If you prefer a PRINTED HARD COPY ON A4 WHITE PAPER - please add a note to me when buying. Posting will be by Royal Mail 2nd class.
Delightful and easy to make up in a sparkly or plain fabric. The best bit is the decoration where you can use your sparkly sequins, buttons and trims to great effect! To delight a child of any age, or for yourself! There are 3 options given for the mane and tail. Please use your discretion when making for children as the mane and tail options may not be suitable for young children.
This UNICORN be made up from as little as a fat quarter (46 cm x 56 cm) of fabric. Indulge yourself and buy that gorgeous piece! Made up this UNICORN measures approximately 32 cms -12 1/2 inches high by 30 cms - 11 3/4 inches wide. Best to use a good quality material such as sold to for crafting and dressmaking as the Unicorn needs to be firmly stuffed and therefore the seams will take some pressure.
Photos also show my SCOTTIE DOG DOORSTOP and SAUSAGE DOG DRAUGHT EXCLUDER patterns and a photo of part of the pattern. These patterns come with FREE CUSHION COVER Instructions for 2 styles to make to match if you wish. Or, they can be custom made by myself - see individual listing.
NEW! Please see my RAGGEDY BAG instructions. This is a fun make from old jeans/flannel sheets. A trendy casual bag that can easily be sized up for a tote or down for a child.
Making things is such a joy and, especially as a beginner, being able to follow simple clear patterns giving a good result is very satisfying! All my patterns are designed by myself at my home in Somerset, England. I make up everything first to test - and then they get snapped up by family and friends!
