Item details

Perfectly worn round brass door knocker featuring a lion's head. It is a solid piece with ridged dips around the edge and protruding spheres closer to the lion's head. It does come with the screw attached on the back top half but does not feature the actual knocker/ring that would probably hit the lion's nose. It can be used as a display as well. Ready to adorn a door, craft room, wall, shelf, or whatever else needs a vintage touch. This is not magnetic when using a rare-earth magnet (the screw is metal and is magnetic). The screw is attached to the back of the knocker. If you would like us to try and remove it and not mail it with the knocker please let us know. If not, it will be mailed connected as-is.

Measurements: 5 3/4 inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 5/8 of an inch deep (without screw) / 2 5/8 inches deep (with screw)

Vintage condition. Solid piece with no chunks missing or major issues. Patina in spots. Please reference the pictures and email with any condition questions and we will be happy to answer.

Our vintage goods range in age from 20 to 100+ years old. Due to this, all items are sold in "as is" vintage condition. You can possibly expect some level of wear and use from each item as they were previously owned. While we do put the specific condition of each item in the item's description, common "as is" vintage condition is defined as minor surface scratches, nicks, tiny chips, fading, minor finish loss, or light tarnish. We do make a note in the description for the imperfections we notice and usually provide photographs for any defects that fall outside this definition.

Items are shipped within 1-3 business days, Monday - Friday (sometimes Saturday) except on major holidays. We usually have items out the next day, but use 1-3 business days as a guideline. All items are shipped depending on what the payee selects when checking out. Keep in mind each shipping option has a different shipping speed. The USPS has the following standard shipping times (domestic only): USPS Priority Mail: 1-3 days USPS First Class Package Service: 2-5 days USPS Parcel Select Ground: 2-9 days USPS Media Mail: 2-8 days

If your item was damaged during transit, please contact us upon delivery. To process the insurance claim, we will require proof of damage via photos (of the box & items) and the buyer must complete an online affidavit form. If your package has not shown as delivered via delivery tracking after 20 days for domestic packages and 45 days for international packages, the seller will file a lost package claim with the insurance carrier. In both scenarios, refunds are processed once the insurance claim has completed. Shipping insurance does NOT cover packages missing or stolen upon completed delivery. Once USPS makes a final delivery scan, reAwesome is not responsible for items missing from the delivery location.

While packages generally arrive much sooner, we allow the post office up to 30-days for domestic delivery and up to 5-6 weeks for international delivery before refunding for non delivery. If the post office has the item(s) marked as delivered in their database, we will be unable to provide a refund. Once we have shipped the item(s) it is out of control and we must wait to see if the item(s) gets delivered. Once we have meet the guidelines above the seller will file a lost package claim with the insurance carrier. Refunds are processed once the insurance claim has completed.

We will happily ship straight to a giftee as well as include a personal note and/or gift wrapping free of charge. Just leave us the information in the note to seller at checkout.

We strive to recycle boxes when mailing packages as well as attempt to lower shipping costs by packing item(s) smaller. We do use new, priority, and recycled boxes. If you have a preference for a new box please let us know before the purchase.


Payments

The reAwesome Etsy shop accepts credit card, Paypal, and Etsy gift certificate payments. With any method you have the option of purchasing as a guest and not have to sign up for an account.

We only charge true shipping costs and refund all shipping overages greater than $2.00 USD if one does occur, via whichever method you used to pay for your transaction. This will occur after the item(s) has shipped.

Additional return information
Your satisfaction is our primary goal and while we do not officially accept returns, all problems are unique and have different solutions. Keep in mind that all of our items are vintage and many times one-of-a-kind so each will be in vintage condition. If you feel that an item(s) you purchased has been grossly misrepresented from what was presented in the item(s) description we will work with you if the following guidelines are followed:

1. The buyer must communicate via Etsy email any concerns about an item purchased within THREE DAYS from delivery (as determined by delivery tracking). If the seller authorizes a return, the item must be shipped back within FOUR DAYS from this agreement. It is the buyers responsibility to open the package and inspect the product in a timely manner. No returns or exchanges will be offered beyond the three day time frame. Also, if the item(s) is shipped back after the four day return period, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

2. The buyer pays all shipping costs to return or exchange an item, unless there was a significant error on our end.

3. Please return the item in the gift box and/or bag sent. Returns should be shipped with delivery tracking. Please provide us the tracking information following shipment. We highly recommend the purchase of insurance as buyers are responsible for the risk of loss or damage.

4. All items must be returned in the condition they were in when sent. Items authorized for a return/exchange that are received back with any altering or damage that wasn't already existing or discussed when initiating a return, will not be eligible for a refund. The item will promptly be shipped back to the buyer and considered a final sale.

5. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from a refund if any items are returned without prior communication and/or if your package is returned undelivered or refused and/or if any exceptions are made and a return is granted past the three days the buyer has to initiate this request.

6. Items that were discounted or purchased with a coupon code are not eligible for returns or exchanges. The only exceptions are on items purchased during a shop sale or if you are using a special coupon code for returning customers.

Again, please keep in mind that all items are vintage and have had a previous life and owner. We describe all items to the best of our ability and if you have any condition issues please ask about them prior to making the purchase.

Additional policies

We want our customers to have a wonderful experience and return to reAwesome and shop with us again. We love hearing that a customer has loved their purchase and we have gotten personal stories from time-to-time that make our experience as a seller even better.

As we sell vintage items buyers need to review all aspects of the item description and photos prior to purchasing. When able we provide close-up photos for detail and will always provide additional pictures if requested. Some items will look larger in the photos than in real life and measurements and any other descriptive information is provided in the item description. We also mention any significant flaws or damage. All items are vintage, so there will be some level of wear (see our description of vintage in FAQ's). Also, color can vary from one computer or mobile device to another.

Questions prior to purchase are encouraged and welcomed. We will typically respond within 24 hours.

We will be happy to reserve one, or more, of our items for up to 1 calendar day.
