Item details

Playing with TEXTURE! This is some sisal string/yarn/fiber that I have dyed a deep rich charcoal blue with indigo, a natural dye. 50 yards. It's approximately worsted weight. WILDY TEXTURED. it's not soft but is SUPER fun for weaving, basketry, mixed media arts, gift wrap, etc. Want a different color? just ask!

I do expect some crocking - color bleed - from this indigo dyed twine. Unforutnately it is just part of the indigo dye process on this material.

These yarns are spun in my home; I do my absolute best to keep my felines and houserabbit out of the fiber, but please do be aware that these yarns are created in an pet-friendly home. After they are spun, tagged, photographed and listed on etsy, they "live" in my herb shop until they are sold, so they DO smell pleasantly of herbs - most people find this pleasant but if you think this might be objectionable, you have been warned :) .

SHIPPING! I did my best to make shipping affordable, and put in the weight and dimensions for every listing so etsy can calculate the best shipping rate for you - but the problem is, it doesn't work well. :/ The shipping seems to be accurate for one or two skeins, but more than that and it can be high. I will also refund you if there are shipping overcharges! So do not fret. Feel free to convo me if you need more exact information before you purchase, but I WILL always check and refund you any excess if needed.
