(HUGE) 22.75cts Minas Gerais, Brazil *STEAL ALERT* 🔥🔥🔥
Here we have an exquisite example of a Royal-sized jewel! Weighing in at 22.75cts, this Tourmaline rough was mined from Minas Gerais, Brazil and then faceted into the Emerald Cut that you see here!!
This Verdelite's vibrance is unvrivaled when placed against many others I've seen, exhibiting a strong Pleochroic effect - Chrome Green can be seen when viewing directly above the table, yet when spun in hand the crown begins to display vivid, very light blues reminiscent of a greener Indicolite, as well as varying shades of the electric Chrome green seen below. Though Tourmalines are most commonly found as Baguette cuts, an Emerald cut allows for MUCH better refraction; resulting in the beautiful Pleochroism explained above! The stone is lightly included, which is perfectly natural and commonly accepted for Tourmalines in general - let alone one weighing over 20 CARATS!!!
Unfortunately it was very difficult for the blues to translate in our photos as a result of how light the blue appears throughout the deeply saturated green, however we're certain that whoever receives this stone will be endlessly pleased.
Typically we'd price this stone at 40/ct due to such little supply of Pleochroic Chrome-green tourmalines - especially faceted and in this size. HOWEVER, WE ARE PRICING THIS STONE AT ONLY 359.99 + shipping, as the piece we had planned for this stone didn't come to fruition and we're looking to quickly liquidate it! This is LESS THAN $16/CT! If you collect Tourmalines, facets, or you're a true jeweler, this would be a real miss to pass up!!
Shipping will be flat rate priority + signature.

We'd like to note that the stone has a very light scratch on the edge of the crown; however this could be easily covered once set, or easily repolished.
