This is a 1960s McCall’s printed pattern No. 8337 Misses’ Dress in Three Versions, “Time Saving Quickie Patterns — Dressmaker Tested”.
Three section dress with or without three-quarter length, set-in bell sleeves. Dress, lightly fitted by French darts at front and vertical back darts, has zipper in back, faced and interfaced neckline and may be lined. Sleeves may have applied bands of contrasting fabric on lower edges and bands applied above hemline of dress. When bands are omitted, sleeves are faced.
This pattern has been cut and lovingly used and cared for. 16 pieces given; all are present and intact. A couple may need to be pressed out with an iron on a low heat setting. Envelope shows signs of wear, consistent with age — some tatters and writing.
