This Genuine Montana Sapphire has an interesting color play. In natural light it's blue gray with greenish yellow sparkles. In artificial light it's got the blue gray, but darker and it reflects the warmth of the artificial light, creating a champagne cast. So it plays off of whatever light that is present. Sometimes in mixed lighting it looks like it has slight purple hues. This is one of those oddballs that I've come to love and respect. Every pair of eyes that looks at it sees the colors a touch differently. What will you or your loved ones see when you gaze into it?
This Sapphire is eye and loupe clean and it will make a lovely center stone for any project.
This Sapphire measures 5.4 x 4.6 mm and is 2.9 mm deep. It has a cushion cut and weighs .61 carat. It was hand mined by my family in Rock Creek, MT, heat treated by my Father in Helena, MT, and faceted by family friends in Bangkok, Thailand in a clean and ethical facility.
I've noticed that everyone's computer monitor displays colors differently. This may alter the appearance of the Sapphire's color from what it truly is. If you have any questions about a stone's color or clarity, please let me know. The photos are taken in different lighting for you to get an idea of how the Sapphire's color may shift depending on lighting.
