DESCRIPTION This is a large embroidered flying pelican. The pelican has been hand embroidered on blue fabric in continental stitch. The embroidery had been framed and could be framed again or it could be converted into a cushion. The colors in the embroidery are various shades of blue, pink, and flesh tones. The work has been expertly done - see reverse side of embroidery.
MEASUREMENTS The embroidered section of the piece that was previously framed measures 19 inches / 48 cm high by 14 inches / 36 cm wide. There is a wide border of blue fabric around this section.
AGE The piece is circa 1970s.
CONDITION The embroidered section that was previously framed is in excellent vintage condition. There are some rust marks on the border outside this section.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
I am happy to refund if you change your mind about the item. You will receive the refund (postage costs excluded) when I receive the goods back in the same condition they were sent. I will refund the cost of the item and the postage cost paid when: The item is not as described or The item is damaged in transit to such an extent that it can't be used or The item is lost in transit. If the item is slightly damaged in transit, but is still usable or repairable, I will discount the price. I will require proof of damage - an emailed photo will usually suffice. If an item with a tracking number tracks as having been delivered and the buyer doesn't receive it, the buyer must take this up with the carrier. The carrier won't allow me to do this on the buyer's behalf. I will not refund in this situation.

All of the goods I sell are vintage and most will have had prior owners. For this reason, they are likely to show some signs of age or wear. This is normal and I will only mention specific issues that I think you should know about before deciding to purchase.
