There are two parts to this group. The first is a recycled strip of the tumbler pattern with some striking red prints. The strip is about 4.5” x 78” and dates to perhaps the 1870s. The second is a piece recycled from a quilt back. There are three anchor themed, print pieces that have been seamed together. The panel measures 22” x 66” and dates to the late 1800s/1890s. The piece appears to have been taken from tied comforter/quilt. There are random small holes where the ties were pulled through and also bits of cotton batting still caught in the folds. This would be a useful group for quilt repairs or upcycling into antique inspired sewing pieces like needle cases. Enjoy!
