This is a set of 5 buttons cut from a Bitternut Hickory branch. The bark has been left intact and each piece sanded smooth to reveal beautiful wood grains and many unique markings. They measure just over 3/4" wide and 3/16" thick. They've all been covered in a generous coating of Tung oil to preserve the wood. They make great sweater buttons, or can be used for many different craft ideas!
