This Pencils for Hope project tutorial includes all of the steps and information needed to make a pencil case and a decorated pencil for an orphaned child in Kenya.  Stahili Foundation, an Aina-approved nonprofit organization, works to reunite children that have been trafficked into orphanages with their families. This $7 pencil case expense can be a huge burden to the new families. That's where you come in! We've put together a tutorial for you to make not only a pencil case, but also a decorated pencil. You'll get resources and videos showing just how much your contribution makes a huge difference in the lives of these kiddos. This project is easy enough for children as small as 4 to tackle. It's the perfect craft for any parent, civic group, or church leader.

You will receive a download with all of the steps to create a pencil case and homemade decorated pencil for a child rescued from an orphanage in Kenya.
An Information Sheet about the issue, the Aina-approved organization, and Talking Points for the project is included.
This project falls under the Cause Category of: International/Babies & Children/Adoptions & Orphans/ Foster Care.
Resource links, related books, websites, videos, and films are also included - Aina projects are excellent for playdates, book clubs, and ladies nights out!
