I am selling 5 Catalpa Trees. They are 18-24" in height and are bareroot. This tree has showy white flowers, giant heart shaped leaves, dangling like seed pods, twisting trunk and branches demands your attention. This is a fast grower and finds itself in parks and yards throughout the country. In the summer this tree has WORMS on it that is used for fish bait. A favorite for fishermen. Rate-fast. Used in zones 4-8. Considered a shade tree, flowering tree and an ornamental tree. It features a canopy capable of blocking sunlight. Blooms in the spring and adds a visual interest beauty to any landscape. Planting instructions with each order. Tenn. Dept. of Agriculture #14698.
I bought 10 total and had places picked out for 6 of them. The other 4 I gave to a friend. All 10 are growing well, even with the horrible weather we've had. The first 3 weeks after planting is rained hard almost every day and we had very little sun, but they survived and are doing great. On 2 of them I had deer eat all the leaves, but I sprayed deer repellent and those 2 now have several leaves growing back.
