Item details

Note that the blanket and sock shown are projects that might be done with these minis, not included in the listing. The blanket is a free pattern available on, the Mitered Square Blanket. One square takes about 12 yards, so one of these mini-hanks will make two of the squares.

The sock is a cuff-down, 2 X 2 rib and took almost 10 of the mini skeins to complete, changing colors as I wished. The cuff is about 6" and I wear a size 10.

Pictures above show exactly what you will receive. Twenty (20) mini-hanks, in 20 different colors. Each mini-hank is twenty-five (25) yards long. Some are a bit longer, but none will be shorter. This listing is my Lot 355, which is a group of yarns with green. You will receive exactly the hanks shown above.

I will be mailing them out to you via standard mail, in a poly white envelope. It is tear resistant and water resistant. The yarn will also be in a plastic bag for further protection. They will be mailed out the weekday following your payment.

I have checked and rechecked the length of the skeins, but, as it is always possible to make an error, I am including an extra skein that is 12 - 24 yards long to make absolutely certain that you are getting the yardage paid for. Your bonus hank is in the last picture.

Included in this listing are hanks from a number of different companies. They are listed below.

Opal. 6 different colors.

Zauberball Crazy, 1 color

Wildfoote sock yarn, 4 colors

4 of the hanks were hand-dyed by me.

Trekking sock yarn, 5 colors.

Your freebie is Zauberball Crazy sock yarn.

All of these are sock yarns, but as in the case with yarns from different companies, you will find that the gauge is a bit different even when the recommended needle size is the same. This difference blocks out pretty easily when finished with the project, in my experience.

The yarns are machine washable in cold water, I recommend the gentlest cycle available. I always allow my hand knitted items to be allowed to dry flat rather than in the machine.

Never put fabric softener with superwash wool, however. Superwash wool has been treated in order to prevent felting. Fabric softener can interfere with the treatment and may cause the knitted fabric to felt in subsequent washing.

Thank you so much for checking out this auction. Knit on, with happiness and joy.
