You may be familiar with my YouTube videos, where I create and share lots of mixed media art. I'm happy to offer a value pack of some of my favorite mark-making tools, so that you can try all of these different options at a low cost. My value pack includes 8 different tools:
2 yards - self-adhesive mesh drywall joint tape 2 yards - self-adhesive paper drywall joint tape 3 - 6 inch pieces of punchinella 1 - 3 inch circular needlepoint canvas 1 - 3.5 inch square needlepoint canvas 1 - 2.5 inch (approx.) silicone piece (honeycomb pattern) 1 - 5x8 inch piece of plastic mesh bag 1 - plastic key card
The drywall tapes can be used as stencils and can also be adhered to your projects to add texture - they can be painted, as well. The punchinella makes a great stencil and this pack contains enough to last you quite a while. The needlepoint canvas pieces can be used as stencils, too, but my favorite way to use them is to dip them into acrylic paint and stamp with them. The silicone piece is cut from a trivet and makes a wonderful honeycomb pattern when used as a stamp or in rubbings. I use the plastic mesh bag often when I'm mono printing with my gel plates and it can also be used when stenciling. The plastic hotel key card can be used to scrape paint onto your projects, and the edges can be used to dip into acrylic paint to stamp lines.
I love all of the items in this value pack and use them often. I believe you will enjoy using them in your arts and crafts, too!
