Item details

As a mom to two girls I am always looking for books with strong female roles for my daughters, so I decided to make a line of designs featuring empowering quotes by women authors. SHE WROTE designs are perfect for shirts, notebooks, mugs, totes, and gifts for any girl! "I MEAN TO ASTONISH YOU ALL SOMEDAY" by Louisa May Alcott is one of my favorite quotes, I love the adventurous spirit it projects.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

----LITTLE WOMEN----
"As a New England mother struggles to support her family in the wake of her husband’s service in the Civil War, her four daughters struggle, too—caught between childhood dreams and the realities of burgeoning adulthood. For Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March, raised in integrity and virtue, negotiating the right path in life means making choices that will either narrow or expand their destinies."

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

----LOUISA MAY ALCOTT----
"Born in Germantown, Pennsylvania, Louisa May Alcott (1832–1888) spent her childhood in Boston and Concord, Massachusetts. Influenced by her transcendentalist father’s friends Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau, Alcott began writing at an early age as she sought a way to help her impoverished family. A feminist, abolitionist, and accomplished novelist with fifteen titles and numerous short stories to her name, Alcott is best known for her timeless classic Little Women and its sequels, Little Men and Jo’s Boys."
