Item details

This seam ripper is constructed using a blue-green ocean Inlace Acrylester that has been polished to a high luster. The double body enables you to set up and use either a seam ripper or a stiletto. The cutter is made of a sharp, durable manganese steel and replacement tips are available if needed. The seam ripper blade and stiletto reverse to store within the handle and it is held snugly by an internal spring mechanism. My wife is a quilter, seamstress, and embroiderer so I crafted the first one for her. She absolutely loves it and has acquired one of each style since. Although she doesn't like to remove her stitching, she says there is nothing like having a custom tool that has a nice feel to the hand and is easy to hold.
This item is a necessary tool to have in any sewing or craft room. It's ideal for sewing, needlework, quilting, or even leather work. If you know anyone that sews, they would love to have one.

Additional policies

Thank you for visiting our shop. As our company name implies, additional craft items from wood and thread will be added as time progresses. Please feel free to drop us a note if you have any questions.

1. Most of the wooden bowls are turned from green wood with a natural edge. The wood used comes from local fallen trees salvaged before they overly decayed or became firewood. My projects give the tree a chance for a second life.

Please be aware that small cracks and other irregularities are a natural occurrence in the wood. Some bowls have adhesive repairs to fill voids and strengthen cracks. They are not considered by this artist to be flaws or defects in the finished bowl as long as the structural stability is maintained.

None of my bowls are intended for use with liquids, but things like nuts, pretzels, wrapped candies and other dry goods are all ok. The finishes used are food safe but not waterproof and therefore not recommended for use with liquids. Care should be taken to keep the items dry. If allowed to come in contact with liquids they should be wiped dry immediately to avoid damage to the finish.

Mother Nature made these bowls. I have only attempted to reveal their beauty.
