Need some quick gifts? Or maybe you just like to cross stitch? Grab a hoop, and create some fun items using the patterns in these vintage craft booklets! These patterns are perfect small projects for beginning stitchers, too!
This is a set of THREE vintage counted cross stitch books that feature patterns for kitchen decor and gifts. Some are small creations, but there are also larger ones included, too!
Included: - 1979 Leisure Arts Leaflet 157, Kitchen Stitchin', Carol Wilson Mansfield, 18 pages, 17 designs - 1979 Busy Hands Needlework Designs book 9, A Cupboard Full, 23 pages, 28 designs including a large fold out design! - 1982 Leisure Arts Leaflet 222, Quick Kitchen Projects, Anne Van Wagner Young, 8 pages, 48 designs (one section of a double page is loose, but still included)
So many cute and retro designs! Lots of ideas - 73 total designs!
The booklets are in decent condition for their age. They may have old price tag stickiness or an old price tag. Some dings and scuffs to edges, small bends or creases here and there. Nothing is missing and any defects do not affect the patterns in any way. One book has the loose page as mentioned. The "A Cupboard Full" book also has a tear through many of the later pages of the book, just at the bottom and doesn't affect any patterns. A little rust near some staples, too.
Have fun with these and let me know what you make!
NOTE: I will mail these media mail unless you pay for a shipping upgrade.
Additional Information about Ephemera Ever After cards and items:
For my paper items: I try to show any markings, creasing, tears or stains on my cards and items, but do not hesitate to contact me for a better description of any listing. These are mostly vintage cards, many stored for a very long time. In listings where you do not see the back or the inside of the card, do not assume it is 100% perfect. Most are in great shape, but a back might have an old elastic stain or a stray bit of old tape. There may be other small age marks/stains on a few, but not detracting from the images. Those imperfections are not common in my inventory, but you should expect that is possible with old paper and stationery from personal collections. I look for and find great items, and I try to represent their flaws well.
For my non-paper items: While my paper goods often come from my own personal collection, I find most of my non-paper goods elsewhere. I always look for good, clean items and try to fully disclose any and all flaws in my descriptions. Some items are very old, and their age shows - but all are in good vintage condition. Please contact me with any questions that you have!
I CAN PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PICTURES OF ANY ITEMS. Just ask! :)
Please see my Shipping Policies for any questions about how I package my items. Please contact me to discuss shipping to countries other than the US! :)
I use Etsy's calculated shipping for the U.S. (all my items) and select countries (some items - not those in bubble mailers, only those in boxes). Contact me to discuss shipping to other countries I have not selected.
I will combine items for reduced shipping rates when possible.
When my calculated shipping is more than $1.50 over my actual cost to package and ship, I will refund the difference back through Etsy.
I take GREAT CARE in packaging up my treasures to send to my buyers. I use recycled packing materials, and try to ship as cheaply as possible, but some items can be very heavy!
I ship using the U.S. Postal Service. It benefits both of us: I get a reliable shipping partner who will handle my item and save me the hassle of complicated mailing, and you know that your items should arrive in good condition. Plus, you get tracking! :)
Here are some general ways that I pack my items:
My greeting cards, paper items, and some thin books are mailed carefully and packaged with care in a padded envelope.
My larger items and bigger books are usually sent packed in boxes, again using recycled materials and fill.
I prefer to do all transactions through Paypal or Etsy Direct Checkout. I do accept Etsy gift cards, and you can use all major credit cards through Paypal and Etsy.
Returns & exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Additional return information
I generally do not accept returns and do not issue refunds or exchanges, UNLESS it is clear that I misrepresented the item - ie, wrong color, wrong size, etc. If you are worried about damage (I do my best to protect everything well), please ask me to add insurance and I will send you an updated invoice for the item.
You are also responsible for providing a valid address for me to ship to. I can not be responsible for incorrect addresses. If an item is damaged, I would expect the buyer to work with the shipper (USPS) to resolve the issue.
My Vintage Cards and other vintage items are photographed and described in the best detail that I can so that you know upfront about any flaws, markings or defects with the items. Please read each lot description carefully.
