Eleven knitting patterns explore the connections between books and knitting, while the accompanying essays take you from medieval monasteries to contemporary libraries. Officially this is the first knitting book to be included in the Gutenberg Museum's archive of book history.

The 11 knitting patterns include Karie's own designs: shawls, cardigans, sweater, mittens, gloves, cowl. All patterns have written instructions and clear charts. The book contains also the Raverly code to have the digital access to all the patterns.

PDF patterns will be delivered immediately after confirming the PayPal payment to the provided email address. It is necessary to have installed Adobe Acrobat on your computer or device so to be able to open the PDF file.

The physical goods can be shipped anywhere in the world. At the moment of placing your order of physical good(s) you can decide between two options: standard shipping (no track&trace number) or track&trace shipping (recommended). At the moment, we have four (4) profiles of shipping costs depending on your location: Netherlands, Europe (UE and non-UE) and overseas. Additional return information
Printed or downloaded patterns: there is no return policy for our patterns, since it is difficult to discuss about previous use or copy of it. But no worries, we want you to be 100% satisfied and happy with your purchase. If you have any kind of issues with the pattern(s), please let us know and we will try to find a best solution for you.

Other items from our store, not patterns: if you are not satisfied with what you got, please send us your purchase back within two (2) weeks. It should keep the original packing and have no signs of use, dirt or damage. Unfortunately, you will have to cover the postage costs. We will pay your money back as soon as we confirm the return.

What are the sizes of the garments?

The sizes of our designed garments are based on the European reference table however, they are meant to be close to “one size only” standard whenever possible. As an alternative - compare the width and the length of your favourite garment you wear with the measurements provided in the description of each item.

What material is mainly used for production in Wool Element?

We love natural materials as wool, cotton, silk and linen. Rarely, a non natural material is used and only as a special feature.

Is Wool Element friendly to animals?

Come on! We love all of them!!!! Some animals give us wool, and wool means something very good to us... We select very carefully the wool we buy and we pay a special attention to the conditions under which the wool providers work with their animals. We love to try and promote home based spinners so contact us if you wish to join our team.
