My Digna DK/Worsted weight yarn base is from Rauwerk (see below) and has been dyed by me using natural dye extracts, together with an alum mordant.
At the moment, each skein is a one-of-a-kind colour way, but I will be endeavouring to release repeatable colour ways during the next few months (with slightly more exciting names!).
Main dye: Logwood [base yarn: white]
--- a tonal purple/lilac colour, with speckles of vibrant pink ---
I have taken great care to thoroughly soak and rinse the yarn before winding it, but - as with many dyes - there is still the possibility of small amounts of residue dye remaining in the fibres. With this in mind, you should wash your yarn/garment separately, using a gentle wool-wash for the first few times.
