This listing is for handcarded mohair fiber that was shorn from our one Angora goats - Grace.
We are a small farm in the Northern European country Estonia. We grow different wool animals to provide supplies for my own spinning, and to sell to other crafters. In 2017 we added three Angora goats to our flock, and I'm super happy to offer their silky and shiny fiber!
This fiber was sorted and then washed in hot water with Unicorn Power Scour. I try to use rainwater as much as I can, because this is the softest and will give best results in washing. After picking I drumcarded the fibers into a nice uniform batt which is perfectly suitable for using as is. Or it can be used for blending with other fibers, dyeing etc.
