Skinny Scrumpet has the same wicked soft fiber blend of 80% SW Merino, 10% Cashmere, and 10% Nylon in a light fingering weight with a drape-y twist. With 510yds per 100g, there is plenty for many, many shawl patterns.
This is my dye method that knits up with semi-solid color sections and gradual transitions. The swatch pictured represents how this colorway transitions. The size of each color section and where they transition in your project is highly dependent on your stitch count, gauge, and if you are knitting flat or in the round.
The yarn pictured is from a previous dye lot and may vary slightly from the yarn you receive.

Kinky yarn? Gradient yarns are dyed in blank form and are unravelled while still damp and will have a very slight kink. Since most sock projects are worked at a tight gauge, this should not affect your finished object.
Knots happen! Milled yarn breaks coming off the mill equipment and gets joined with a knot before it even gets to me sometimes. Yarn that has more than one knot will be discounted.
