Our kits make great gifts and are perfect for vacation down time. They can be packed in your carry on and go through security. Since all yarn is precut, you don't need scissors on the plane. Simply weave the leftover yarn through the wrong side of the design and trim when you land!
Crewel work is a style of embroidery that dates back hundreds of years. Instead of cotton thread, crewel work uses wool yarn. This gives the work a richness and depth that cannot be achieved with thinner threads. The ladies of Queen Elizabeth's court would embroider tapestries and their seamstress would embroider their gowns. Over the years since, everything from bed linens to jean jackets has seen embellishment from a needle.
Return policy: should you decide this kit isn't your speed, we do take returns within 30 days for a full refund. Purchaser must pay for return shipping. Kits must be returned in the same condition they were mailed in.
