THESE ARE NOT REPRODUCTIONS!! These were removed from a butler's pantry. Stamped and dated June 1903 They are metal: possibly copper or brass. They need a kittle elbow grease to remove the over paint. The gold color looks applied. Three function well... as in moveable parts. One needs some WD-40 Size: Overall each is 3 3/4"L x 1 1/2" H
My husband and I spent many years renovating an 1879 Gothic Victorian house in New England. It took us 22 years precisely! These hinges were installed during an earlier renovation when the house was already 25 years old back in 1903 ... way before we were even born!!
