These beautiful hand dyed yarns were created from my 100% 2 ply sport weight white yarn. The natural luster in suri yarn is readily apparent in these skeins. I hand dyed the skeins myself in small batches. These yarns would create lovely scarfs, hats, and or mittens.
The yarn was spun by Stonehedge Fiber Mill, a pure Michigan business, located in East Jordan. The fiber was a product of the nuturing that takes place at our farm, Zephyr Hill Farm, located in the heart of Michigan, the mitten state.
Suri yarn is as soft as cashmere, warmer than wool and has the luster of silk. It has an elegant drape, blends well with other fibers, is versatile and provides warmth and substance. It contains no lanolin and comes in several natural colors and dyes beautifully.
