TUTORIAL Amber Pendant - Wire Wrapping Tutorial, Jewelry Pattern Wire Wrapped Cabochon Tutorial DIY Gemstone Lesson Wire Wrap Stone Setting - INTERMEDIATE Level PDF Instructions

With this lesson you will learn how to make a Gorgeous Pendant, as shown in the cover picture, using only your hands and a few pieces of wire and basic tools.

The tutorial is filled with information, tips, tricks and advice on “how to”, all these supported by 176 crisp clear pictures with relevant explanations right beside them, spread along 30 main steps, within 60 pages. The pictures can be magnified at least 500% with clarity.

The pendant measures 1 7/32” (3.1 cm) across and is 2 1/4” (5.7 cm) long.

Materials YOU WILL NEED:
• 6 pieces of 10 inches (25 cm) of 20 ga (0.8 mm) dead soft copper wire (if your cabochon is larger, add 2 or 3 inches extra to your pieces of wire, to be on the safe side)
• 1 piece of 16 ft. 5” (5 m) of 26 ga (0.4 mm) dead soft copper wire
• Gemstone cabochon measuring about 39 x 23 x 5 mm (1 17/32” x 29/32” x 13/64”)
The cabochon must NOT be thicker than 5 mm (13/64”), otherwise the frame won’t fit nicely to it.
• 3 pieces of 3 mm copper beads for an accent

• Nylon jaw flat nose pliers
• Chain nose pliers
• Wire cutter
• File (could be a nail metallic or glass file)
• Ruler - not shown
• Mini screwdriver
• A pencil or anything of a similar size to use for a little mandrel
• Spring clamp - Optional
• 20 ga stainless steel needle for polymer clay baking or anything similar with a sharp tip

I will teach you how to manipulate your wires and weave them together so to model a beautiful wire woven section that could be further used for framing a cabochon, turning it into an exquisite Pendant, as shown in the cover picture. Or, you could use the same wire woven section for making an elegant bracelet, if you prefer, or even large hoop earrings.

The design lends itself very well to endless color variations so it is only up to you whether you want to limit yourself to the creation of my pendant using only the materials that I have used or, you want to let your creativity take over and play with different sorts of wire (copper, bronze, gold filled, silver filled, sterling silver, or a mixture of them) and choose various colors of gemstones to create lots of beautiful pendants, each with its own charm and loveliness.

Please carefully read all tutorial pages before starting to make your own beautiful jewelries!!!
The dimensions given in Imperial System are approximate!!!
