This fiber content tag contains two shank buttons as replacements on a sweater. The tag says, "Fibre Content Tag, National knitted Outerwear Association, Notice! For sanitary reasons, this garment, if worn, may not be returned -- except for inherent manufacturing defects. This is your guarantee of a fresh and new unworn garment. Copr, 1941-N.K.O.A. 'Knitted Outerwear deserves the preference" and on the reverse side, "Washing Instructions: wash in warm suds, rinse thoroughly, squeeze water out gently, to dry -- lay it out flat, 100% orlon acrylic, a DuPont fiber, Made in U.S.A." Hand written on the back is "white pearl button sweater." This would be great to add to a collection of buttons. Truly a unique collectible vintage tag. The tag is a tiny bit yellowed from age.
If you would like to purchase more than just this item, please send me a message (conversation) before you purchase. I will be happy to change the listing so that all the items are shipped together saving you shipping fees. To do this I need to change the size of the package and weight before you purchase. If you purchase the items separately before notifying me, I am sorry but I will not be able to issue a refund of the shipping overages, because I will package the items separately using the separate mailing labels creating no savings on shipping.
