Handmaids Tale - Cross Stitch Pattern PDF

A beautiful chart featuring 6 of the characters from Margaret Attwood's Handmaid's Tale, made popular recently by the TV series of the same name, with the iconic quote "Nolite te Bastardes Carborundorum" - Don't Let The Bastards Grind You Down.

The characters included are June/Offred, Commander Fred Waterford, Serena Waterford, Emily/Ofglen, Janine/Ofwarren and Moira.

Go a step further and get your favourite actors/actresses from this show to sign it before you frame it!!

Stitching with 3 strands makes the figures really pop on the chart, but they look equally good in 2 strands. Back stitch is 1 thread.

The measurements for this chart are:
14 count Aida - 7.5 in x 3.5 in / 19 cm x 8.5 cm
16 count Aida - 6.25 in x 3 in / 16 cm x 7.1 cm
12 count Aida - 8.25 in x 3.75 in / 21.2 cm x 9.5 cm

These measurements are for the stitched area only. Add an additional 3 inches on each side for framing.

Pattern PDFs include:
- symbol chart
- chart in colour for those who want to match colours with ones already in their stash
- list of DMC thread colors
- colour photo for reference
- PDF booklet featuring the historical photos/artworks that the cross stitch figures are based on with a blurb about the inspiring acts these women performed.
